What amazed me most about mom was her generosity. For every birthday there was a card and a gift. I can't imagine how much time/effort/money it must've been for her to keep up with and contribute to not only all her kids' birthdays, but also their spouses. And that's not counting her grandkids! I literally think about that and have to assume it was a full-time job. But she loved it, and she gave to us with love and pride. She was truly one of the most generous people I've ever known...
